Senator Dino Melaye on Saturday, October 23, bagged a law degree from Baze University, Abuja. His aide claimed that he (Dino) graduated as the best graduating student but school records show that Dino actually graduated with second class lower.
He shared photos from his graduation ceremony on his Instagram page with the caption ”LLB (Law Degree) confirm”
Dino Claims he bagged the Best Graduating Student
Mr Melaye’s aide, Bode Gbadebo, posted a picture of him on Facebook, alongside other individuals adorned in an academic dress, with the caption “Senator Dino Melaye graduates from Baze University, emerges best graduating law student.”
Peoples Gazette reached out to Mr Gbadebo, who concurred that Mr Melaye graduated with a first-class in Law degree (LLB).

The Baze University convocation list seen by The Gazette shows that Mr Melaye finished with a “weak second-class lower”.
When the media reached out to Dino’s aide to ask him about his claim, he abruptly hung up the phone. Mr Melaye himself also didn’t return requests seeking comments about why he had to deceive Nigerians about his grades.
