A young lady identified as Lehasa Nelisiwe Phelokazi Rethabile has celebrated on social media as she bagged her first degree in medicine and surgery from the University of the Free State, (UFS), South Africa.


The overjoyed woman describes the degree awarded to her as a ‘piece of paper’ which caused lots of hardships for her.
The lady who was happy to hold her certificate for the first time said she cried because she has been paying her school debt for a year now.
“Held my “piece of paper” for the first time today cos I owed tuition fees and I’ve been paying the account off for a year, I cried a little,” her tweet reads.
