Akwa Ibom State University, AKSU Notice on Deadline for NSE/COREN Induction Fee Payment for Graduates of Engineering.


The management of Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU), through the Faculty of Engineering, has issued an important notice to all graduate and graduating engineering students regarding the payment of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) induction fee.
According to the official statement dated March 12, 2026, the NSE/COREN Induction Planning Committee has fixed Monday, 15th March 2026 as the final deadline for the payment of the induction fee. The university emphasized that this deadline is strict and non-negotiable as preparations are already ongoing for the induction ceremony.
The induction ceremony is scheduled to hold on Friday, 24th April 2026 at the New Senate Hall of the university. The deadline was set to allow the planning committee adequate time to finalize arrangements for a successful ceremony.
All affected students are strongly advised to complete their payment on or before the stated deadline. The notice also warned that failure to meet the payment deadline may lead to exclusion from the official induction list as well as participation in the ceremony.

Students who have completed their payments or those with enquiries are advised to contact the Faculty Officer immediately for confirmation or further assistance.
The Faculty appreciated students for their expected cooperation and urged them to comply promptly with the directive to avoid any complications.
