Augustine University to Graduate 71 Students, 11 with First Class Honours, and 28 Diploma Students

Augustine University to Graduate 71 Students, 11 with First Class Honours, and 28 Diploma Students.

At a press conference held on Thursday, 17th October 2024, Augustine University announced that 71 degree students will be graduating at its 6th Convocation Ceremony, scheduled for Tuesday, 22nd October 2024, at the University Convocation Hall.

Of the graduating students, 11 will receive First Class Honours, underscoring the university’s commitment to academic excellence.

In addition to the degree students, 28 diploma students from the St. Gregory School of Pastoral Music, affiliated with Augustine University through the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, will also be graduating.

Speaking at the press conference, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Christopher Odetunde praised the achievements of the graduating class and announced that Loko Iyanuoluwa Emmanuel (Department of Mathematical Sciences) will be recognized as the Overall Best Graduating Student, having attained a remarkable Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.90.

The convocation ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 22nd October, 2024 at the Convocation Hall.

The Convocation Lecture will be delivered by Dr. Peter Bamkole, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos State.
