A bill seeking to establish Federal University of Land and Air Transport in Zaria has passed through First Reading in the House of Representatives.
The bill sponsored by Hon. Abbas Tajudeen (PhD) Chairman, House Committee on Land Transport is titled “Federal University of Land and Air Transport Zaria (Establishment) Bill, 2020 (HB. 798}.
The focus of this tertiary institution if passed into law by the lawmakers and assented by Mr President will be to produce manpower in the land and air transport sectors of the economy.
Similarly, Education (National Minimum Standards and Establishment of Institutions) (Amendment) Bill, 2020 (HB. 799) sponsored by Tajudeen also scaled First Reading at the Green Chamber on Wednesday.

Tajudeen who is representing Zaria Federal Constituency of Kaduna State as well as Treasurer, Commonwealth Parliamentary Union, African Chapter and Caucus Leader, House of Representatives Members from Kaduna State is with the highest number of bills in the life of the current 9th House of Representatives between June 2019 to December 2019. He sponsored over 30 bills within the period.
