The bill to upgrade the Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa to the Federal University of Education, Ankpa Kogi State has passed Second Reading at the floor of the Senate.
Senator Isah Jibrin led the debate on Tuesday, 8th December 2020, adding that the College of Education, Ankpa have structures and facilities for a less cumbersome take-off to a Federal University of Education.
The Senate President represented by the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo Agege referred the Bill to the Senate Committee on Education and Trust fund and directed that the reports be submitted to the Senate within four weeks.
