BUK Academic Calendar for 2024 Announced [REVISED]
Bayero University Kano (BUK) REVISED Academic Calendar for the 2023/2024 Academic Session is Out.
The Management of Bayero University, Kano has directed Monday, 15 July, 2024 for the commencement of the 2023/2024 academic session for undergraduate programmes as approved by the Senate. Below is the academic calendar:

The Senate also approved that lectures for the first semester for the 2023/2024 academic session will start on Monday, 15 July, 2024 and will finish on Saturday, 5″ October, 2024 while mid-semester break (first semester) is slated for 26 to 30 August, 2024.
According to the calendar, the first semester examinations will hold between Monday, 7th October, to 9 November, 2024.

Monday, 24th February to Saturday, 22nd March, 2025 – Second Semester Examinations (4 weeks)
Monday, 24th March to 3rd May, 2025 – End of Session Break (6 weeks)
Monday, 5th May, 2025 – Resumption for 2024/2025 Session

The migration of the Department of Economics from the Faculty of Social Sciences to the Faculty of Management Sciences in line with emerging trends and global best practice.Â
Migration of the Department of Library & Information Sciences from the Faculty of Education to the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Renaming of the Faculty of Management Sciences to Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences.

I thank Almighty Allah I got a message that have been offered direct entry provisional admission to study B.Sc.Accounting in Bayero university kano. The problem is that have been trying to check admission status on jamb caps portal is display sorry No Admission is given yet
