Ekiti State University (EKSU) 30th Convocation Ceremony Schedule of Events has been released.

EKSU Vice-Chancellor wishes to inform all graduands, parents, guardians, and the general public as well as friends of the University that the activities marking its 30th Convocation Ceremony will take place as scheduled below:
30TH CONVOCATION CEREMONIES
TUESDAY, 7TH APRIL, 2026
- (i) VICE-CHANCELLOR’S PRESS CONFERENCE
Venue: New Senate Chamber
Time: 11.00am - (ii) CONVOCATION PLAY
Venue: Main Auditorium, University Campus

WEDNESDAY, 8TH APRIL, 2026
- (i) Convocation Lecture
Convocation Lecturer: Prof. Ayodeji Oludare Omole, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso and Chairman, Committee of Pro-Chancellors and Chairmen of State-owned Universities
Topic: Power, Responsibility and Stewardship: Balancing the Barricade with Governance

- (i) CONFERMENT OF POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA, MASTERS AND DOCTORATE DEGREES
- (ii) CONFERMENT OF HONORARY DEGREES

GENERAL INFORMATION
(1) The Convocation ceremony involves students who graduated from the University in the 2024/2025 academic session in all programmes. Graduands are to visit the University website: www.eksu.edu.ng for confirmation of their names.
(2) Academic robes will be available for collection from Faculty Officers/Secretaries of Colleges/Programmes from Tuesday, 7th April, 2026 upon payment of the prescribed charges (excluding Bank Payment commission).
METHOD OF PAYMENT
- (a)
- (i) Login to eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng
- (ii) Click on Certificate/Transcript
- (iii) Create a profile by inputting your correct information (please ensure you use an active e-mail address)
- (iv) After creating a profile, please click on “Apply for Certificate”.
- (v) Enter your graduating year as shown on your Notification of Result. Please enter 2024 if your result was approved in 2024 or 2025 if your result was approved in 2025.
- (vi) Please select your type of degree e.g. First Degree, Sub Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Masters or Post Graduate Ph.D, as the case may be.
- (vii) Click on the item to Pay, click on “Pay Now” (ix) Then Submit. (x) Input your ATM Card Details.
- (xi) Please note that you will be automatically redirected back to the Portal after your payment has been successful.
DISCLAIMER: EKITI STATE UNIVERSITY, ADO-EKITI does not support payment of fees and charges through third party and will not be liable for anyone being defrauded through this guise. You are therefore, advised to ensure that you do not release your Password or ATM details to any third party to avoid being defrauded.
(b) The printed receipt of payment should be kept intact as it will be required for collection of certificates/transcripts in future.
(3) The deadline for the submission of academic robes is Friday, 17th April, 2026.
(4) Damage or loss of an academic robe during convocation by graduands will attract a penalty fee.
COLLECTION OF CERTIFICATES/TRANSCRIPTS DURING CONVOCATION BY GRADUANDS
Graduands who have completed their clearance upon payment of the prescribed fees will be eligible to collect their certificates immediately after the convocation failing which, they may be asked to pay additional charges. Graduands are implored to pay the prescribed fees on or before 7th April, 2026.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE COLLECTION OF CERTIFICATES DURING CONVOCATION BY GRADUANDS:
- Original Statement of Result/Notification of Result;
- Student’s Identity Card or Letter of Identification from the Department;
- Two Recent Passport Photographs;
- Evidence of Payment of the Prescribed Fees;
- Evidence of Clearance from the University.
