Final year students of the Department of Nursing Science of Elizade University, Ilara Mokin have recorded yet another 100% in the professional Midwifery (RM) examination conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
It would be recalled that the same students scored 100% in the professional Registered Nursing (RN) examination conducted by the same body in May this year.
It is worthy of note that this is the first set of Nursing graduates to be produced by the University.
Reacting to the development, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Kayode Ijadunola congratulated the students as well as their lecturers for doing the university proud. He further remarked that the quality of equipment in the Nursing laboratories, coupled with the quality lecturers engaged by the University, led to the excellent success in both examinations.
He added that the students will be formally inducted into the Nursing profession on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at a colourful ceremony which will be presided over by the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
Also expected to grace the occasion is the Founder of the University, Chief Michael Ade. Ojo.
