Enugu State University Of Science And Technology, ESUT Extends Deadline for Students’ Verification and Registration.

The Management of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has extended the deadline for the verification and registration of both new and continuing students to Friday, January 16, 2026.
This decision followed a report by the Taskforce on Registration of Students, which revealed that as of December 19, 2025, only 50 percent of new students had completed their registration, while less than 10 percent of continuing students had complied with the registration requirements.
According to a memorandum issued by the Registrar, Ambrose G. Ugwu, the extension was granted to enable more students complete the exercise. He warned, however, that students who fail to verify and register on or before the new deadline will face appropriate sanctions as may be determined by the University Management.
The Registrar directed all Deans, Heads of Departments, Faculty Officers, ICT Faculty Representatives, and Admission/Registration Officers to ensure full compliance with the directive.
The University Management also used the opportunity to wish students a Merry Christmas.
