Federal Polytechnic, Oko nullifies the suspension of an SUG Financial Secretary Official over lack of evidence.


This is to notify the entire Student Union that the suspension of the SUG Financial Secretary dated 13th November 2020, by the Student House of Parliament (SHP) has been nullified.
This is because the suspension lacks merit and did not follow the due process:
- All the allegations stated as the reason for such suspension are totally ambiguous and lack Specificity.
- None of the allegations has any substantive evidence to back it up.
- There is no single evidence that the Financial Secretary was found guilty of any of the allegations leveled against him or his office. This makes the section of the constitution quoted in the notice of suspension unfit for such action.
The SHP is therefore warned to desist from such action capable of throwing the Students Union into a state of anarchy.
The Student Union members are therefore, encouraged to carry on with any activities and peaceful relationship with SUG Financial Secretary, and with other officers of the union; as none of them have been found guilty of any accusations that warrant suspension
