Federal University, Dutse, FUDUTSE VC has appointed Prof. Babandi as Pioneer Provost of College of Postgraduate Studies.


The Vice-Chancellor Federal University Dutse, Professor Ahmad Muhammed Gumel has approved the appointment of Professor Gambo Babandi Gumel as the Pioneer Provost College of Postgraduate Studies Federal University Dutse.
The appointment which takes effect from 15th May, 2026 is for the initial period of two years. The VC congratulated the new Provost and prayed to Allah to grant him success in his new assignment.
In a related development, the VC on behalf of the Senate had earlier on the 26th of April 2026 approved the conversation of the School of Postgraduate Studies Federal University Dutse to College of Postgraduate Studies and the Dean will now be addressed as Provost while the Secretary will be added as Director.
