The management of Federal University, Dutsin-ma, FUDMA has close down school following students’ protest


The Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) in Katsina has announced a one-week mid-semester break starting on February 24, following a protest by students over the alleged killing of a colleague by the Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF).
The students began protesting on Sunday after accusing the JTF of shooting their fellow student, whom they reportedly suspected of being an informant. The demonstration continued into Monday morning.
Students were advised to vacate the campus by 6:00 p.m. on February 24.
