The Pro-Chancellor Federal University of Education Zaria, Ambassador Baba Jidda Ahmed, has recently approved the appointment of Malam Ahmed Tijjani Abdullahi as the new Acting Librarian of the institution.


Mal. Tijjani has been serving in the capacity of Acting Librarian of the Federal College of Education for years and has been dedicated to his responsibilities, bringing better innovations into the College Library.
Before his recent appointment, he was the Chairman of the Nigerian Library Association and secretary of the committee of College Librarians in Nigeria.
The Pro-Chancellor has enjoined Mal. Tijjani showed exceptional leadership qualities in the discharge of his duties as was accorded to him in his appointment in order to foster great development in the university.
Mal. Tijjani expressed his profound gratitude to the Pro-Chancellor, Amb. Babba Jidda Ahmed, for saddling this responsibility on him. He assured him of excellent performance and better service delivery.
He also thanked the Acting Vice Chancellor, Dr. Suleiman Balarabe, for creating an enabling environment for him to deliver service with maximum standard to be appreciated and recognized.
