FUEZ Notice on Prohibition of Unauthorized Creation of Facebook/Whatsapp Platforms.

With reference to Bulletin No. FUEZ/ADMIN/194/VOL/1471 dated 25th September 2024, titled “Prohibition of Unauthorized Creation of Facebook/WhatsApp Platforms,” the Management of the Federal University of Education, Zaria, wishes to reiterate that the creation of unauthorized WhatsApp or Facebook platforms remains strictly prohibited. Any individual found in violation of this directive will face appropriate disciplinary action in accordance with the law.

Furthermore, any group created on WhatsApp or Facebook in the name of the University or any of its departments or units without explicit approval from the University authorities must be deleted immediately.

Henceforth, any person intending to create such a group or platform must obtain prior approval through the Directorate of Information and Protocol.
