FULafia VC approves Reappointments of Director, Centre for Energy Studies, others

The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Lafia, FULafia, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, has approved the reappointment of the Director, Centre for Energy Studies, Professor Emmanuel H. Kwon-Ndung, for another term of two years.

His reappointment took effect from December 3, 2024.

Similarly, Professor (Mrs) Halima Idris Amali has been reappointed by the vice-chancellor as the Head, Department of English and Modern Languages, with effect from December 3,2024, for another period of two years.

This is just as Dr. Adaka Terfa Ahon was reappointed as the Deputy Director, Centre for Disability Studies, for the period of one year.

Also, Dr. Adejoh Ojone Stella was reappointed as the Acting Head, Department of Agriculture Economic and Extension, Faculty of Agriculture, while Dr. Tijani Ajayi was reappointed as the Acting Head, Department of Accounting.

Similarly, Dr. Abdullahi Dauda was reappointed as the Acting Head, Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Science, Dr. Rebecca Mfon, Acting Coordinator, Department of Science Laboratory Technology, Dr Joseph Igono, Acting Head, Department of French, with Dr. Eke Ifeanyi Christopher, reappointed as the Acting Head, Department of Information Technology, while Mrs Yusuf Jummai Khadijat was reappointed as the Coordinator, Department of Fisheries and Acquaculture, Faculty of Agriculture.

The reappointment of the aforementioned officials would subsist for a period of one year with effect from December 3, 2024.

The news of the reappointments were made known through a statement issued by the Registrar of FULafia, Malam Nuradeen Abdu.
