Cursory: NatnudO Foods partners with FUNAAB for the “Natnupreneur University Programme,” supplying 1,000 broiler chicks, feeds, and medication to the Agriculture Department. The program aims to equip students with agribusiness skills, fostering entrepreneurship.

Driven by a shared vision of nurturing future agricultural leaders and enhancing Nigeria’s food security, natnudO Foods, the food processing arm of Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited, has collaborated with the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) in an innovative initiative.
As part of its “Natnupreneur University Programme,” natnudO Foods is contributing 1,000 broiler chicks, along with feeds and medication, to the university’s Department of Agriculture, as highlighted in a statement announcing the strategic partnership.
This program aims not only to raise chickens but also to empower young minds with the skills and knowledge needed to become successful agribusiness entrepreneurs. By providing students with hands-on experience, the initiative contributes to their development and enhances the university’s overall well-being.
Ms. Omole Iyabo Morenike, Senior Account Officer at natnudO Foods, further enriched the students by imparting essential financial skills. Budgeting, bookkeeping, and managing profit margins are fundamental aspects of any thriving business, and the Natnupreneur University Programme ensures that students are adequately equipped to navigate the financial aspects of their poultry ventures.
The initiative focuses on nurturing entrepreneurial skills from a young age, training students in the basics of raising broilers and marketing their products. This equips graduates to establish and manage their poultry businesses effectively, thus enhancing protein availability and fostering economic growth in Nigeria, as explained by Adeyemi.
Professor Fafiolu Adeboye, a Professor of Monogastric Nutrition and Biochemistry at FUNAAB, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are sure that this is the way to go, and the training for our students today will go a long way in sharpening their thinking and focus, to ensure they take this as a business so that their future will be secured,” remarked Adeboye.
