The National Universities Commission (NUC), has granted approval to the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), to commence two new Full-Time Academic Programmes at the Federal College of Agriculture (FCAIB), Moor Plantation, Ibadan.


This followed a successful Resource Verification exercise conducted by a panel of experts who assessed the adequacy of human and material resources for the proposed programmes.
After the comprehensive evaluation, the Executive Secretary of NUC, Prof. Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu, approved the introduction of the two Degree programmes at the College commencing in the 2025/2026 Academic Session. The approved programmes are B.Sc. Home Science and Management and B.Agric. Agriculture, and would be offered at FCAIB’s main campus.
