FUTA Notice Admission Seekers for 2022/2023 Session.

The attention of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has been drawn to a viral notification to the effect that candidates seeking admission to the University could write a letter to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) to change their preferred department and course.

The notification is false in its entirety and did not emanate from the University Management. For the avoidance of doubt, the process of admission is fully automated and does not involve the writing of letters to effect any change whatsoever.
The admission process for all Nigerian Universities is managed by the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board, JAMB through its Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). All requests for change of University, Course and Departments are under the purview of JAMB.
All candidates and their sponsors should therefore ignore the notification.
