On Tuesday, after a clash between students and the police, gunshots broke out in Ede, a community at the Federal Institute of Technology Osun State.


The nation reported that after several days of unrest in the community, a team of police raided a criminal hideout in the Oberlin area.
During the operation, Hassan Ayobami, a student of Ede Poly in the Technical Management Office, used his mobile phone to take photos and videos of the operators.
When the agents discovered that Ayobami was making a video, they tried to arrest him, but he fled the scene and ran into the campus.
A witness who claimed to be Temitope said: “The police chased the student in the school and arrested him. This incident caused a crisis because the leadership of the student union government accused the school security of allowing the police to arrest him.
