How to Calculate UNIBEN Aggregate Score [UPDATED]

Are you among those who want to know how to calculate the University of Benin (UNIBEN) Aggregate Score? Then this is just the page you’re looking for because we will show you how to calculate it.

How to Calculate UNIBEN Aggregate Score

Before we show you how to calculate University of Benin Aggregate Score, let’s explain what the aggregate score is all about.

What is UNIBEN Aggregate Score?

In simple words, this is the final score that will determine your chances of gaining admission into the school. Each department have their own minimum aggregate score.

You can only know your aggregate score after participating in both the JAMB UTME and UNIBEN Post utme.

Now enough of the long story, let’s show you how to calculate the aggregate score.

Please Note:

  • UNIBEN Aggregate JAMB Score = 50%
  • UNIBEN Aggregate Post UTME Score = 50%

How to Calculate UNIBEN Aggregate Score

In one sentence: Your aggregate score is “Post utme score divide by 2” + JAMB Score divide by 8.

If you didn’t get that, then assume Mr. Allschool scored 290 JAMB and 80 in post utme. His aggregate score will be:

  • Post utme score divide 2; 80/2 = 40%
  • JAMB Score divide 8; 36.25%
  • Therefore, the final aggregate score will be 40% + 36.25% = 76.25%

Hence, Mr. Allschool’s aggregate score is 76.25%.

That is the final score that will be used for admission.

That’s why when you check the UNIBEN departmental cut-off mark, what you will see as a cut-off mark for a course will be 80%, 70%, 50%, etc.

We tried as much as we could to make the above information very simple. But if you’re not still clear, don’t worry. Feel free to ask us your questions using the comment box below. We are here for you.
