A JSS3 student of Bright Future Secondary School, Shomolu, Lagos, suffered a serious injury after a senior student allegedly punched him in the face for accidentally touching him with his tie, despite apologizing.
According to a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), the school allegedly protected the senior student from the victim’s parents and failed to take action, forcing the family to seek medical treatment for their injured child.
As the incident gained attention online, social media users expressed outrage, condemning bullying in schools and criticizing the school’s inaction.
