This is to inform the public especially new and returning students of Kaduna State University (KASU) that the school management has released the approved academic calendar for first and Second semester of 2025/2026 academic session.

First Semester
- 5th Jan. 2026: Resumption
- 8th Dec. – 23rd Jan. 2026 (3 weeks): Screening/Course Registration (Fresh & Returning Students)
- 26th Jan. – 13th Mar. 2026 (7 weeks): Lectures for All Students / CA
- 16th – 22nd Mar. 2026 (1 week): Mid-Semester Break & Add/Drop (Online)
- 23rd Mar. – 8th May 2026 (6 weeks): Lectures Continue / CA
- 11th – 30th May 2026 (3 weeks): Examinations and Marking
- 1st – 14th June 2026 (2 weeks): Processing of Results
- 15th – 19th June 2026 (1 week): Consideration & Release of Results (Senate)
- 22nd – 28th June 2026 (1 week): First Semester Break
- 29th June 2026: Second Semester Begins
Second Semester
- 29th June 2026: Resumption
- 29th June – 14th Aug. 2026 (7 weeks): Lectures / CA
- 17th – 21st Aug. 2026 (1 week): Mock Accreditation & Mid-Semester Break / Add & Drop
- 24th Aug. – 9th Oct. 2026 (6 weeks): Lectures Continue / CA
- 12th – 16th Oct. 2026 (1 week): Students’ Union Elections & Inauguration
- 19th Oct. – 7th Nov. 2026 (3 weeks): Examinations and Marking
- 9th – 20th Nov. 2026 (2 weeks): Processing of Results
- 23rd – 25th Nov. 2026 (3 days): Consideration & Release of Results (Senate)
- 26th Nov. – 20th Dec. 2026 (3 weeks): Intra & Inter-University Transfers
- 21st Dec. 2026 – 3rd Jan. 2027 (2 weeks): End of Session Break
- 4th Jan. 2027: New Session Begins
