KASU Academic Calendar 2024 is Out [UPDATED]

KASU Academic Calendar: See the Kaduna State University (KASU) First and Second Semester Academic Calendar for 2023/2024 Academic session.

This is to inform the public especially new and returning students of Kaduna State University (KASU) that the school management has released the approved academic calendar for first and Second semester of 2023/2024 session.

LATEST UPDATE : KASU issues notice on adjustment of second semester academic calendar, 2023/2024

At its 138th regular meeting, the University Senate approved an adjustment to the 2023/2024 second semester academic calendar. According to the original schedule, the second semester examinations were set to begin on Monday, 23rd September and conclude on 12th October 2024.

However, due to the two-week interruption caused by the nationwide protests in August and the subsequent curfew imposed by the state government, the examinations have been rescheduled. The second semester examinations will now take place from 7th to 26th October 2024.

All Provosts, Deans, Heads of Departments, Staff, and Students are kindly advised to make the necessary adjustments to accommodate the revised calendar. Thank you for your cooperation.

• 9th-26th Jan, 2024 (3 weeks) – Screening/Registration for New
• 15th-26th Jan, 2024 (2 weeks) – Registration for Returning Students
• 29th Jan., – 15th Mar., 2024 (7 weeks) – Lectures for All Students/CA
• 19th Feb, 25th Feb, 2024(1 week) – COURSE ADD AND DROP
• 18th Mar., 22nd Mar, 2024 (1 week) – Mid-Semester Break
• 25th Mar., 3rd May. 2024 (6 weeks) – Lectures Continues CA
• 6th May, 25 May, 2024 (3 weeks) – Examinations and Marking
• 26 May-9th June, 2024 (2 weeks) – Processing of Results
• 12th June, 2024 – Consideration of Result by Senate/Release of Results
