Kogi State University, Kabba Academic Calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session is Out


This is to inform all students of the Kogi State University, Kabba that the school management has released the approved academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session as follows;
FIRST SEMESTER
- 18th November, 2024 – 23rd November, 2024: Registration of returning and newly admitted students
- 25th November, 2024 – 21st December, 2024: Lectures for all students
- 23rd December, 2024 – 4th January, 2025: Christmas, Boxing Day, New Year Break
- 6th January, 2025 – 25th January, 2025: Lectures continues
- 15th January, 2025: Orientation for newly admitted students
- 16th January, 2025: Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted students
- 17th March, 2025 – 22nd March, 2025: Revision
- 24th March, 2025 – 5th April, 2025: First Semester Examinations
- 21st April, 2025 – 25th April, 2025: Consideration of first semester results
SECOND SEMESTER
- 21st April, 2025 – 7th June, 2025: Second Semester Lectures commences
- 9th June, 2025 – 14th June, 2025: First Continuous Assessment
- 28th July, 2025 – 2nd August, 2025: Revision 4th August, 2025 – 16th August, 2025: Second Semester Examinations
- 1st September, 2025 – 5th September, 2025: Consideration of second semester results.
NOTE: All public holidays will be duly observed.
