Odumeru Ameerah has become an inspiring symbol of resilience after overcoming cancer, returning to school, and emerging as one of Nigeria’s top nursing graduates.
Ameerah, a student of Lagos State University (LASU), was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in March 2022. The diagnosis forced her to defer her studies for four semesters while she focused on treatment and recovery.
