LASUSTECH Post UTME Form 2025/2026 is Out [UPDATED]

This is to notify the general public, particularly candidates seeking admission into the Lagos State University of Science and Technology, Ikorodu in the 2025/2026 academic session of the commencement and guidelines for the post-UTME online admission screening exercise as follows:

The screening exercise does not require the physical presence of the candidate on the University campus.

Applicants are to note that before admission can be offered by the University, they must have uploaded their O’Level results on CAPS and once admission is offered, the candidates must either accept or reject the offer on CAPS before JAMB’s closure of CAPS for the year in order to be on JAMB National Matriculation list for the year.

Candidates Eligible to Apply for LASUSTECH / LASPOTECH Post UTME

• Only candidates who chose LASUSTECH as their First Choice Institution in the 2025/2026 UTME, obtained a minimum UTME score of 195, and possess the required O’Level subjects at credit level in not more than two (2) sittings are eligible for admission.
• ALL Direct Entry candidates, who wish to be considered for admission into Lagos State University of Science and Technology for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, must have obtained a Direct Entry Form from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Roard JAMB) and must have chosen Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their First Choice Institution must apply for the screening
• Only candidates of Lagos State Origin, for 100 level and Direct Entry, who have proven their claims successfully before the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) set up by the lagos State University of Science and Technology, will be allowed to participate in the Online Admission Screening Exercise.

NOTE: If you chose LASPOTECH as your institution during JAMB, you should change to LASUSTECH and make sure you make them your first choice of institution.

Admission Requirements

College of Agriculture

Candidates must possess the West African School Certificate or Senior Secondary Certificate or GCE/O’ Level or its equivalent with a minimum of five credits at not more than two sittings in English Language, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics and any two from the following subjects: Geography, Chemistry, Physics, Economics / Commerce, Technical Drawing, Food & Nutrition, Home Economics, French Language, Nigerian Language.
At least a Pass in Chemistry is compulsory.

College of Applied Social Sciences

SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’Level or NECO with at least 5 credits at one sitting, which must include: English Language (not Literature in English) and Mathematics and any three subjects from the following: Economics/Commerce, Business Methods/Business Studies, Accounts/ Book Keeping, Literature in English, Government, Statistics, Geography, Government / History, Yoruba/Hausa/Igbo, Biology /Agricultural Science, Office Practice, Physics/Chemistry (only one Science subject: ) OR:

NABTEB: With at least 5 credits at one sitting, which must include: Mathematics & English Language and any three from the following:
(a). GENERAL EDUCATION COMPONENT( TWO Subjects from the following)
Economics/ Commerce, Physics/ Chemistry, Government, Lit. in English, Social Studies and Biology
(b). TRADE COMPONENT/TRADE RELATED COMPONENTS( ONE Subject from the following) Principles of Accounts, Social Studies, Office Practice, Information Communication Technology.

College of Engineering and Technology

SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’ level or NECO with at least five credit at two sittings, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and one subject from: Biology/ Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork (for Civil Engineering Technology), Further Mathematics, Economics/ Commerce, Geography.(For Agricultural Engineering: Biology/Agricultural Science, Food & Nutrition and at least a pass in Chemistry and Biology/Agricultural Science are necessary).

College of Environmental Design

SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings
which must include: English Language, Mathematics, and any other three credit passes from the following: History/Government, Chemistry/Physics, Fine Art, Biology/Agricultural Science, Literature in English, Clothing & Textiles, Religious Knowledge, Economics/Commerce, Geography, Home Economics.

College of Science

SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings, which must include: Biology/Agricultural Science/Health Science, Mathematics, English Language and any two of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Government, Economics/Commerce, Food and Nutrition/Home Management, Health Science, Geography, French Language, Book Keeping/Accounts, Home Economics, Business Methods.
OR
NABTEB: With at least five credits at two sittings, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Food & Nutrition/Basic Cookery and any other one subject from the following: Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Basic Electronics and Home Management.

What is LASPOTECH Screening Method

The method for admission for this year is Screening with O’level result and jamb result. No Post UTME. Your physical presence in LASPOTECH is not necessary. Just get your O’level and jamb result ready!

How to Apply for LASUSTECH Post UTME Form.

Candidates are to make a payment of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only to Lagos State University of Science and Technology through this link https://admission.lasustech.edu.ng and follow the instructions as stated in the procedure for LASUSTECH application for admission

CLOSING DATE: The Online Screening Portal will open at 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 29th July, 2025 and close at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, 31st August, 2025..

• Candidate who provides false information to secure admission to any programme of the University and upon discovery of such at any point in time will be prosecuted by law enforcement agencies and the admission of such candidate shall be withdrawn. Candidates are also advised to BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS as the University will not be liable for any transaction with any unauthorized person.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Every candidate must satisfy the O’Level requirements of the programme of his/her choice before completing the online application form
• ALL candidates must upload their O’Level results on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
