Lagos State University, LASU Vice Chancellor’s Message to Students On Resumption of New 2023/2024 Academic Session.
It’s the commencement of a new session, the 2023/2024 academic session, and I am happy to welcome you back on our beautiful campus. Your absence during the break was felt but that is fine; holidays are mandatory aspects of our academic calendar.
I am particularly excited to welcome our new intakes to the best State University in Nigeria. I congratulate you on gaining admission into our prestigious institution and assure you that you are in the best university you could be right now.
As we begin the new session, I urge you, my world-class students, to make hardwork your watchword. Your academic pursuit is your primary assignment on this campus; give it your very best. As an administration, we shall continue to give you all the support you need and provide the right environment for you to thrive.
Our goal is to build a university where you, my world-class students, can achieve your goals without fear or intimidation. Please support us by abstaining from every form of vices, including indecent dressing, cultism, drugs, and all forms of harassment, and reporting same to the appropriate offices in the university.
I pray that God will make this session your best yet. Amen.
