LASUED Indigeneship Verification Exercises 2026/2027 [UPDATED]

Lagos State University Of Education LASUED Indigeneship Verification exercise for 2026 UTME candidates who are indigenes of Lagos State. The registration closes on Sunday, 14th June, 2026. The Cut-off mark is 185 and above.

All candidates of Lagos State Origin who chose Lagos State University of Education as First Choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and scored a minimum of 185 are hereby informed that the online registration for Independent Indigeneship Verification Exercise for the 2026/2027 Admission Exercise will commence on Monday, 18th May, 2026 and close on Sunday, 14th June, 2026.

The Verification Interview shall be for a period of four (4) weeks, starting from Monday, 1st June, 2026 to Thursday, 25th June, 2026.

Please, NOTE that the Indigeneship Verification Exercise does not guarantee or serves as a proof of admission into the  Lagos State University of Education.

Note: ONLY CANDIDATES Who SCORED 185 AND ABOVE IN THE 2026 UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION (UTME) ARE ELIGIBLE

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Please note that the exercise is for ONLY candidates who chose LASUED as First (1st) choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 185 and above.

Please *NOTE* that *ONLY* Candidates who are of Lagos State Origin are eligible for screening. Candidates in this category are expected to be CLEARED by the LASUED Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (LIIVC) BEFORE being considered for admission;

Old applicants for 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 Academic Sessions that have not been offered admission will only Revalidate their Indigeneship Clearance Certificates at the same venue and

All Direct Entry applicants who are of Lagos State Origin are to participate in this Independent Indigeneship Verification Exercise before they can be considered for admission.

Candidates who had paid and yet to be Screened/Verified by the Committee are eligible for the Exercise

The exercise is for those who claim to be indegene of Lagos State.

All Direct Entry Applicants who are Lagos State indegene and have paid for the Exercise are eligible to participate in the Exercise.
