The College of Basic Studies & Continuing Education, Kaduna State University, invites suitable candidates for Admission into the following Part-Time Degree Programmes, available from the December 5th, 2025 to January 19th, 2026.

SOCIAL SCIENCE:
1. B.A. Islamic Studies
2. B.Sc. Criminology and Security Studies
3. B.Sc. Economics
4. B.Sc. International Relations
5. B.Sc. Political Science
6. B.Sc. Sociology
SCIENCE & COMPUTING:
1. B.Sc. Computer Science
2. B.Sc. Geography
MANAGEMENT SCIENCE:
1. B.Sc. Business Administration

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
(A) Prospective candidates must have a minimum of Five (5) relevant passes at Credit level in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) conducted by recognized Examination Bodies in not more than Two (2) sittings, including a pass at credit level in English and Mathematics.
(B) Direct Entry (DE) candidates shall in addition to the minimum Five (5) O’ level relevant credits (including English and Mathematics) in relevant programmes applied, shall also obtain the minimum ‘A’ Level points for the programme. E.g. NCE, Diploma shall be considered for admission into 200level.
(C) Top-Up candidates shall in addition to the minimum Five (5) O’ level relevant credits (including English and Mathematics) in relevant programmes applied, shall also obtain HND (Credit) or B.Sc. (with third class) shall be considered for admission into 400 level.
DURATION
Candidates admitted from 100 levels will spend a minimum of 5 academic sessions.
Candidates admitted from 200 levels will spend a minimum of 4 academic sessions.
Candidates admitted from 400 levels will spend a minimum of 2 academic sessions.
NB: Candidates should note that upon graduation, they will be awarded with B.Sc. or B.A degrees.
HOW TO APPLY For KASU PART-TIME ADMISSION FORM
Interested applicants should visit the University Application Portal: http://applicant.safapply.com/kasucce for application procedures and the list of available programmes. Furthermore, applicants are required to pay a processing fee of N10, 000 (Nigerians) or $20 (Non-Nigerians).

Interested candidates should log on to https://applicant.safapply.com/kasucce and click on the College of Continuing Education button, then follow the procedures below:
- Begin the application by creating a profile: a username and password will be sent to your email. Applicant can continue the registration by uploading their profile details.
- Kindly follow the payment instructions on the payment page. Once your payment is successful, the candidate should proceed to fill out the online application form.
- After completing the form, select Preview & Submit.
- To make changes to your entries on the form, click Update form.
- To submit the form, click Submit form.
- Candidates offered provisional admission will be required to present the originals of their credentials at the point of registration.
