Mrs. Victoria Abosede Wickliffe, on Monday, February 3, 2025, officially assumed office as the substantive Registrar and Secretary to the Governing Council of the University of Lagos.


Her appointment took effect on Saturday, February 1, 2025, in line with the approval issued at the Friday, December 6, 2024 meeting of the UNILAG Governing Council led by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN.
Activities at the Office of the Registrar situated on the 5th Floor of the UNILAG Senate House, kicked off on Monday, February 3, 2025 with a session to welcome the new Registrar.
Prior to her appointment, she was Deputy Registrar/Acting Director of Academic Affairs.
The new Registrar took over from Mrs. Olakunle Esther Makinde, MNIM, FISN, who was appointed as Acting Registrar of the University on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
Mrs. Victoria Wickliffe’s appointment is for a period of 5 years.
