Reacting to rumor, the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Commandant has stated that “NDA Admission is Open to All Nigerians”.

Major General Adeniyi Oyebade, the commandant of Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has dispelled the belief that admission into the Academy is based on Godfatherism and not merit.
Contrary to that notion, the Commandant disclosed, any candidate applying for admission into the NDA would be doing so on a level playing ground, as every candidate will undergo a series of processes to test their suitability both physically and mentally before they could be given admission into the Academy.
The Commandant stated while responding to comments when members of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) Kaduna State Chapter paid him a courtesy visit at the Academy Headquarters, Afaka today.
Gen Oyebade charged the group to always embrace peace in their dealings with their neighbours. According to him, conflicts and problems are part of human existence and those who tow the path of peace will always experience peace. He admonished them not to resort to repraisal in solving communal issues as two wrongs cannot make a right.
