Further Update on the unprofessional handling of a case of indecent dressing by a security staff of NOCEN leading to bodily injuries on the student involved

The following actions have been taken by Management:

• The girl has received adequate medical attention both at the College Medical Center and at the State Teaching Hospital and has been confirmed fit and now studying for her examination.
• The Director of Security has been queried.
• A panel of inquiry has been set up to administratively handle the internal aspects of the matter bothering on unprofessional conduct and breaching the ethical codes of the College, their report is expected on or before Thursday the 26th
• The external aspect bothering on possible crime has been reported to the police and the security personnel involved have been arrested and are undergoing investigation for alleged causing bodily harm on another.

While NOCEN re-affirms it’s zero tolerance to indecent dressing, staff involved in handling it, have an obligation to comply with our agreed ways of working which involves professionalism and respect for the dignity of the human person
