NSUK and MEWAR International University Sign Memorandum of Understanding

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), and MEWAR International University, Karu, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering academic collaboration and the exchange of expertise between the two institutions.

The MoU was signed recently when the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, Fellow; UNESCO, ACLS, FIIFPN, CBER, hosted the Management Staff of MEWAR International University at the Council Chamber of the University.

Welcoming the delegation, Professor Liman described the MoU as a significant milestone and emphasized that it would serve as a strong foundation for institutional development. She noted that the agreement would enable both universities to share knowledge, expertise, and facilities, adding that MEWAR International University, as a neighbouring institution, was well positioned to be a strategic partner in advancing academic excellence.

Speaking on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor of MEWAR International University, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olabode Agunbiade, expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded to his team. He provided an overview of the University’s history, highlighting its achievements, faculties, and academic programmes, and stated that the MoU would further strengthen MEWAR International University’s academic and research pursuits.

Professor Agunbiade expressed optimism about the partnership and looked forward to a mutually beneficial collaboration between both institutions.

The high point of the visit was the formal signing of the Memorandum of Understanding by the Vice-Chancellors of the two universities, symbolising their shared commitment to collaborative teaching, research, and learning. The signed document was subsequently displayed, marking the sealing of the partnership.

The event concluded with the presentation of an official NSUK souvenir to the Management Staff of MEWAR International University, which contained key documents and materials relating to the University.
