Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) 8th Combined Convocation Ceremony Schedule has been Announced. The 25th Anniversary Celebration has also been announced. See details below.
The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, on behalf of the Council, Senate, Staff, and Students, has formally invited the general public to the institution’s 8th Combined Convocation Ceremony and 25th Anniversary Celebration.
The highly anticipated event is scheduled to take place from 8th to 11th April, 2026, marking a significant milestone in the university’s history.
The ceremony will be held under the distinguished chairmanship of His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State and Visitor to Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
The university community and invited guests are expected to grace the occasion, which will feature a series of academic, cultural, and celebratory activities commemorating both the convocation and the institution’s 25 years of excellence.

- Thursday 9th April, 2026 – 9:00am: Novelty Football Match between NSUK VC’s Team and Bingham University VC’s team at NSUK Sport Arena

- Friday 10th April, 2026 – 9:00am: Anniversary Lecture by Dr. Umar Buba Bindir (Topic: From Knowledge to Wealth Creation Pathway for Revitalizing Nigeria Tertiary Education System by Alumni Associations) at New Multipurpose Hall, Main Campus
- Friday 10th April, 2026 – 2:00pm: Special Juma’ah Prayers at NSUK Masjid
- Friday 10th April, 2026 – 3:00pm–6:00pm: Convocation Lecture by Prof. P. L. O. Lumumba (Topic: Universities Leadership of African Renaissance: Re-Imagining Knowledge for Development in the 21st Century) at New Multipurpose Hall, Main Campus
- Saturday 11th April, 2026 – 9:00am–10:00am: Commissioning of Projects at New University Gate / New Multipurpose Hall / ASR Hall
