The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted approval for the establishment of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) programme at Baze University, Abuja.

The approval was conveyed in a letter dated 17th September 2024, signed by Abubakar M. Girei, the Acting Director of Academic Planning, on behalf of the Acting Executive Secretary of the NUC, Chris J. Maiyaki.
This development follows a resource verification visit conducted by panels of experts to assess the human and material resources available for the programme at Baze University.
Based on the assessment, the NUC approved the full-time mode of the BScN Nursing Science programme to commence at the university’s main campus, starting with the 2024/2025 academic session.
