Dr. Segun Aina has achieved a remarkable academic milestone, earning an appointment as a Professor of Computer Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife. This achievement makes him one of the youngest professors in his field in Nigeria and marks a defining moment in the country’s academic and technology landscape.

Aina’s scholarly journey began in the UK, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Kent (2008) and a Master’s degree in Internet Computing and Network Security from Loughborough University (2009).
