Ogun State Institute of Technology Igbesa (OGITECH) Announces one week break notice to all students 2024.

It has come to the notice of the Institute’s Management, that the mayhem that started about a week ago around Igbesa community amongst some non-students’ cult groups has persisted and has reached a dangerous dimension such that it is capable of jeopardising the safety and security of our dear students.
While it is instructive to inform that the Management has embarked on a steam of measures to ensure that our students are safe, the seeming intractability of the crises has left the Management with no option than to declare a one week break for all students starting from today Wednesday, 20th March, 2024.
This is to ensure that the security and safety of our dear students is not in anyway compromised.
It is important for all students to vacate their respective hostels and head home to their respective parents.
Normal Academic Activities shall resume on Tuesday, 26th March, 2024.
Kindly be informed, that the Management would stop at nothing to secure the security and safety of our students and staff members.
Meanwhile, the Management has secured the assurances of relevant security agencies to stem this unfortunate tide and restore nomalcy soonest.
It is also important for all students, to in their own interest comply with this directive, please.
Thanks.
