RSU Supplementary Post UTME Form for the 2024/2025 Session is out. The closing date is Saturday 16 November 2024.  The form cost N10,000. See how to apply and available programmes below.

This is to inform the public that the Rivers State University (RSU) Supplementary Admission Form for the 2024/2025 Academic Session will commence on Wednesday, 30 October 2024 to Saturday 16 November 2024.

WHAT IS SUPPLEMENTARY FORM

  • SUPPLEMENTARY FORM is for those that didn’t meet their various departmental cut off mark( if ur composite score is Below your departmental cut off mark then you need SUPPLEMENTARY FORM)
  • The SUPPLEMENTARY FORM is what the school uses to fill up some departments that has less population applying for it… e.g let’s say you applied for law(67) and ur composite score is 42.. then you can buy the supplementary form and apply for a different course that your composite score is higher than.. e.g philosophy(36), french(39) etc.
  • Your jamb subject combination ( the subject you wrote in jamb) must be in line with the course u want to apply for in SUPPLEMENTARY.. if you apply for a course with wrong subject combination NO admission for you.
  • SUPPLEMENTARY FORM is NOT a 100% guarantee for admission.. EXCEPT you are applying for a course that has very less population..e.g French, animal science, crop science etc
  • Do not apply for medicine, law, medical laboratory science etc for supplementary… the chances of getting admission there is very slim.

Candidates Eligible to Apply:

  • All candidates who participated in the Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into the Rivers State University for the 2024/2025 Academic Session but did not meet the weighted average for admission into the programmes of their choice.
  • Candidates must possess correct subject combination in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for the advertised programmes.
  • Candidates must possess the basic five (5) O’ level credit passes including English Language & Mathematics in accordance with the University’s Entry Requirements (Faculty/Departmental), before applying for the supplementary admission.

How to Apply for RSU Supplementary Admission Form.

Candidates are expected to log onto the University Website http://www.rsu.edu.ng and make e-payments of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only by generating a transaction ID on the University Website for the fee and proceed to any of the designated Banks to pay using the Pay Direct Bank option or using Interswitch Verve enabled cards.
