This is to inform all candidates who participated in the 2025/2026 Post-UTME of Shehu Shagari University of Education that they can proceed to check if their names are on the Provisional Admission list of successful candidates.

LATEST UPDATE: 1st BATCH 2025/2026 Session –100L Admission List.

This is to inform all prospective candidates who applied for admission into our University that the FIRST BATCH of admissions has been approved.

Candidates are advised to check their admission status on the JAMB CAPS portal, accept the offer of admission, and print their admission letters without delay.

Important Reminder:
Candidates who have not yet uploaded their O’Level results on the JAMB portal are strongly advised to do so immediately. Please note that your admission cannot be processed without uploading the required O’Level results.

How To Check Shehu Shagari University of Education Admission List

The Shehu Shagari University of Education prospective students can only check their admission status from the JAMB Portal.

Check Admission Status On JAMB Portal

To check your admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal, please follow the procedure below:

1. Go https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Then click on Admission Status,
5. You should then click on check admission status or
6. Click on Access my CAPS.
7. Select the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for better view)
8. Then click on admission status
9. You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.
10. Case 1: If you see CONGRATULATIONS…, accept/Reject your admission and wait for further instruction.
11. Case 2: If you see admission in progress, then be patient, the status will change in few days/weeks. Just check back after some time.
12. Case 3: Not Admitted, if in such case, please don’t give up yet! You might still gain admission. Just be hopeful!
