Sokoto State University (SSU) Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session is out.


This notice is for all prospective students of Sokoto State University (SSU). Allschool Team wishes to inform you that the SSU admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Please find attached First Batch of students admitted into various undergraduate academic programmes by the Sokoto State University, Sokoto for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Successful students are advised to log into their JAMB profile/account via the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) e-facility on the JAMB website at; caps.jamb.gov.ng to accept the admission and print JAMB Admission Letter.
The date for commencement of the admitted students registration/confirmation of admission will be announced in due course by the University.
While, candidates that are yet to upload their SSCE results (WASC, NECO, etc) on JAMB portal are advised to do so as soon as possible to enable the Institution process their admission.
Please note that the online screening exercise for admission is still on-going. Interested candidates can visit the University portal at; portal.ssu.edu.ng to complete the process.

How to Check SSU Admission List
The Sokoto State University, SSU prospective students can also check their admission status from the JAMB Portal.
Check admission status on jamb portal
The admission list for the 2024/2025 session has been uploaded to the JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal. Candidates can check their admission status on the JAMB portal via the procedure below:
- Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
- Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
- Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
- Then click on Admission Status,
- You should then click on check admission status or
- Click on Access my CAPS.
- Select the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for a better view)
- Then click on admission status
- You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.
- Case 1: If you see CONGRATULATIONS…, accept/Reject your admission and wait for further instruction.
- Case 2: If you see admission in progress, then be patient, the status will change in a few days/weeks. Just check back after some time.
- Case 3: Not Admitted, if in such case, please don’t give up yet! You might still gain admission. Just be hopeful!
Check admission status on SSU portal
Soon, the list will be made available on the SSU Admission portal. When that happens, the procedure below will likely be used to check admission status:

- log on to http://portal.ssu.edu.ng/
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number as username and password
- Click log in
- On your Dashboard, click on Accept Admission to Start with the Acceptance fee payment.
