The Sokoto State University Consultancy Services Unit (SOSUCONS) wishes 10 announce to the general public that the online sales of application forms for admission into various certificate, diploma, part-time degree programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session, commences on Monday, 24th June, 2024, and ends on Sunday, 8th August, 2024. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATE AND DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
- The admission requirements for all the diploma programmes are four (4) credits at O level relevant subjects including English and Mathematics. While, the admission requirement for certificate in Arabic programme is either of the following: Senior Arabic and Islamic School Certificate Examination, Islamic school certificates or ability to read and write in Arabic with appreciable level of understanding acceptable to the interview panel set up by the Department.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR DEGREE PROGRAMMES
- The admission requirements for admission in to part time degree programmes are five (5) O’ level credits in relevant discipline including English and Mathematics. Direct Entry (DE) candidate must possess NCE or Diploma in a relevant course from any recognized institution with at least Merit Grade. Moreover, candidates must have acceptable scores from the JAMB (UTME) Examination.
MODE OF STUDY
- All the programmes are to be operated on part-time basis (i.e. Fridays and Saturdays).
How to Apply for SSU Diploma, Certificate & Part Time Admission Form
The application procedure is as follows;
Step New Application and read the application instructions carefully.
- Visit the Service portal at https://cons.ssu.edu.ng and click on Start
- Create new account username and password by filling your basic information and then click on Register.
- Use your Username & Password to login, then click on “Generate Invoice” to get your screening payment invoice of the sum of five thousand naira (N5,000.00) only (transaction charges exclusive).
- Print your invoice and take it to any bank branch nationwide to make payment or pay via unified payment instant channels option by clicking the “Pay Now” button on the invoice.
- After Payment login again to the portal, confirm your payment, upload your passport, update your bio-data, fill in your previous aacademic records, and upload signature.
- Print your Application Acknowledgement Slip and Payment Receipt for Record Purpose.
