Triplets Make History: Earn Law Degrees with Same GPA at Cavendish University

Three Ugandan sisters—Kirabo Marilyn, Marian Kiconco, and Marysent Kihembo—made history as the first-ever triplets to graduate together with the same GPA in Law from Cavendish University, symbolizing unity, resilience, and academic excellence.

Kirabo Marilyn, Marian Kiconco, and Marysent Kihembo, famously known as the Abiine Triplets, have made history at Cavendish University Uganda by graduating together with Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degrees — all earning the same GPA.

This extraordinary achievement makes them the first-ever triplets in the university’s history to reach such a milestone, symbolizing exceptional unity, resilience, and academic excellence.

How They Did It

Starting their legal studies in 2022, the sisters maintained strong academic records while contributing actively to student life and university activities.

Reflecting on their journey, they shared:

“Graduation day wasn’t just about academic success — it was about resilience, hard work, and the deep bond we share. Earning the same GPA shows how united and determined we’ve been from the start.”

Words That Moved Them

The commencement speaker underscored the importance of values, especially integrity, a message that resonated deeply with the triplets.

“He reminded us that integrity is something no one can take from you. It’s the one value worth holding onto, no matter what,” they said.

They also paid tribute to those who supported them:

“To our mum, our rock, and everyone who stood by us — your support meant the world.”

Looking Ahead

As they step into the legal profession, the Abiine Triplets remain grounded in purpose and optimism:

“We’ve graduated, but the real journey starts now. We’re taking it one step at a time. The best is yet to come.”
