The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is scheduled to visit Taraba State University, Jalingo (TSUJ) on June 9, 2024.
This visit aims to conduct a professional accreditation exercise for the Faculty of Engineering. This accreditation is crucial as it complements the prior assessment by the National Universities Commission (NUC), which took place in December 2023. For engineering programmes to be successfully run in any Nigerian university, they must pass both the NUC and COREN accreditations.
The successful accreditation process at TSUJ is largely attributed to the efforts of the Digital Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Paul Bako.

The university community extends its gratitude to Governor Agbu Kefas for his support, which has been instrumental in achieving these milestones.
