The Kampala International University falls into a state of mourning upon the discovery of the decomposing body of Kenyan student, Isaac Ochola.

The Kampala International University (KIU) community was stunned by the tragic discovery of the decomposing body of Kenyan student Isaac Ochola on Saturday, May 11.
The distressing find was made after locals reported a foul smell emanating from Ochola’s room to the police.
Marcial Tumusiime, spokesperson for Greater Bushenyi police, disclosed that upon arrival, officers were compelled to break down the locked door, revealing Ochola’s body in an advanced state of decay.
Investigations at the scene uncovered various medications scattered on the bed and several syringes, suggesting a history of medical treatment for the 33-year-old student’s psychiatric disorder.
The news of Ochola’s passing has sent shockwaves through his friends and family in Kenya, leaving them bewildered by the circumstances surrounding his death.
However, the cause of his demise remains under investigation, with police in Uganda committed to providing updates as the inquiry progresses.
As the community mourns the loss of a promising young scholar, questions linger about the events leading to Ochola’s untimely death.
