UNICAL Final Deadline for Course Registration 2025/2026

University of Calabar, UNICAL Final Deadline for Course Registration 2025/2026 academic session.

The University of Calabar (UNICAL) management has issued a final notice regarding the closure of the student registration portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Following successful appeals from the Students’ Union Government (SUG) and various university stakeholders, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Ekaette Enang, has approved a final extension to allow remaining students to complete their registration process.

Key Deadlines and Dates

  • Portal Closure: The registration portal will officially close at 12:00 midnight on Tuesday, 17th February 2026.
  • 100 Level & GSS Exams: Dates for GSS and 100-level examinations will be announced at a later time.

The Management emphasized that only the Registration Portal will be reopened. The School Charges Portal will not be accessible during this period.

Students who fail to complete their registration within the approved window are advised to consider suspension of their studies for the current academic session.

The University Management urged all affected students to treat the notice as urgent and important.

Important Instructions for Students

All students who are yet to register their courses are strongly advised to utilize this window. This is a final extension, and no further grace period is expected once the deadline passes.

Failure to register before the Sunday midnight deadline may result in students being unable to sit for the upcoming examinations.
