University Of Cross River State, management has appointed Prof. Stephen Ncha OChang as Acting Vice Chancellor.

This is to inform the entire University Community that the University Governing Council during its 52nd Emergency Meeting held on Monday, May 06, 2024 suspended Professor Augustine Oko Angba as Vice Chancellor of the University of Cross River State. This is to allow for unhindered investigation of subvention and disbursement of salaries to Staff from 2020 to 2023 and other related issues.
Consequently, the University Goveming Council, in exercise of its statutory powers and to avoid a leadership vacuum in the Institution, appointed Prof. Stephen Ncha Ochang as the Acting Vice Chancellor of the University during the pendency of the suspension of Professor Augustine Oko Angba as Vice Chancellor.
Accordingly, all Staff, Students and the entire University Community are implored to cooperate with the present leadership for the continued pursuit of University goals.
Please, be well guided.
