Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following B.A. (Ed.) sandwich Degree Programmes (4 Long Vacations for NCE, Diploma and 5 Long Vacations for SSCE, WAEC, & NABTE holders) in the Institute of Education, Faculty of Education, University of Jos, with specialization in the following courses:

UNIJOS Sandwich Admission Requirements.

1. Admission Requirements for Bachelor of Science (Education), B.Sc. (Ed) and Bachelor of Arts (Education), B.A. (Ed):

Candidates should have a good NCE or a Diploma in relevant areas of study at Upper or Lower Credit level of at least two (2) full academic years’ duration.
Candidates should also possess Five (5) Credits in GCE/SSCE ordinary level in not more than two sittings while those applying for any B.Sc. (Ed) course must have a credit in Mathematics.

2. Admission Requirements for PGDE:

Candidates should have at least HND or its equivalent in any discipline from recognized Institutions.

How to Apply for UNIJOS Sandwich Admission.

Register for the JAMB PART-TIME Programme at any JAMB Office or recognized CBT centre.
Ensure you select UNIVERSITY OF JOS (and NOT Federal University of Education Pankshin).
Proceed to the Federal University of Education Pankshin (FUEP) VENTURES office with evidence of JAMB Registration to obtain the application form at the cost of N8,000 naira. Ensure you collect a payment receipt from the bank via the teller collected from the VENTURES office.
Fill out the form with all necessary information.
Attach photocopies of credentials, including the JAMB registration printout and VENTURES receipt.
Submit the completed application package at the point of collection.

Apply before Friday, 19th June 2026

INTERESTED APPLICANTS SHOULD PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

(1). The duration of the Programme for Candidates with NCE, Diploma and IJMB will now be 4 years and NOT 5 years

(2). Secondary School Graduates can also apply and be admitted into the Part-Time Programme

(3). Institute of Education has now resumed operations at the Bauchi Road campus of the University of Jos

(5). Forms can be purchased online or at Institute of Education.

Important Notes:

Application forms without photocopies of all credentials (including JAMB printout) will NOT be processed.
All properly completed forms must be submitted on or before Friday, 19th June 2026.
Change of course will not be entertained after admission.
