UNIJOS Student Shares Similar Experience With Lecturer Amid UNIZIK Student Controversy

A UNIJOS student shared a video of her calmly complying with a lecturer’s interruption during filming, sparking comparisons to the viral UNIZIK altercation.

Amid the viral controversy surrounding a UNIZIK student physically assaulting a lecturer for interrupting her dance video, a female student from the University of Jos (UNIJOS) has shared a similar encounter.

While UNIZIK’s management has promised a thorough investigation into the altercation, a UNIJOS student, identified as Nanmakplang R. on X (formerly Twitter), posted a video showing a different reaction in a similar situation. In the clip, she is seen recording a video when a male lecturer enters and orders her to stop, to which she immediately complies without resistance.

The video has sparked various reactions online, with some users commending her respectful response and others comparing it to the UNIZIK incident. Comments ranged from praise for her upbringing to broader discussions on student behavior and discipline in different regions of Nigeria.
