UNILAG Postgraduate Entrance Exam Date 2025/2026 is Out [UPDATED]

University of Lagos, UNILAG postgraduate qualifying examination date and time for 2025/2026 academic session is Out.

The School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS), University of Lagos (UNILAG) will hold the 2025/2026 Postgraduate Candidacy Assessment (PCA) on Thursday, October 30, 2025.

Ahead of the Assessment, candidates are advised to read and follow carefully, the instructions outlined below:

General Instructions

1. This is a competitive PCA. Candidates must comport themselves accordingly. Candidates are advised to have a reliable internet connection before attempting the online assessment.
2. The use of mobile phones for the assessment is not supported; use only a webcam and microphone-enabled device.
3. Candidates’ activities during the period of the assessment will be monitored and recorded.
4. Candidates are forbidden from covering their webcams during the period of the assessment. Our inability to see the candidate at any time during the assessment may result in disqualification.
5. During the assessment, candidates are not permitted to leave their position.
6. Departure from the test tab or application during the assessment will result in disqualification.
7. The use of external cameras or HDMI displays is strictly prohibited. Any attempt will result in immediate termination of the examination and disqualification.
8. Nobody is permitted to be around a candidate during the period of the assessment. Candidates will be disqualified if anybody is seen around them during the assessment.
9. Candidates are advised not to write the assessment at business centres or cafés.
10. The duration of the assessment is 20 minutes.  The time starts to count immediately candidates click the start button and continues to count even if they log out before the 20-minute duration lapses.
11. Do not read the questions aloud during the assessment.  This may result in disqualification.
12. Ensure your examination environment is well-lit and that you are not sitting with your back to any source of light.
13. In the event that a candidate runs out of time, the assessment will automatically be submitted.
14. Use of face mask, face caps, ear piece, ear pod or headphone during the assessment is prohibited.
15. Candidates should note that they can ONLY LOG IN on their scheduled date and time.

Directions to take Assessment

The assessment can be accessed in any of the following ways:

• By clicking on the WebTest icon on the UNILAG application portal; or by logging in to https://unilagspgs.proctee.webtest.ng using your application number as username and surname in lowercase as password. Once logged in:

Step 1: Click the “Take Exam” link. This opens the instructions page.

• Download and install the specified examination browser for your operating system (Windows or macOS).
• Note: Only the version indicated on the instructions page will work. If you already installed the latest version, you do not need to reinstall.

Step 2: Grant all permissions requested by the SEB browser.

Step 3: After installation, return to the exam page and click “Click here to take your exam” to launch the assessment.

Please note: The examination browser is supported on Windows 10 or higher Windows OS and Ventura OS for MAC users.

MOCK ASSESSMENT

Candidates are required to take the Mock Assessment with the same device that will be used for the Postgraduate Candidacy Assessment (PCA) to ensure system compatibility of the device before the PCA. The Mock Assessment will be available from Friday, October 24, 2025 to midnight of Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
