University of Lagos, UNILAG admission into proficiency certificate in European language 2023/2024 academic session. The form cost N15,000.


The Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Proficiency Certificate in European Languages for the 2023/2024 Session. The programme is designed for those who are interested in studying French/Russian/German and Spanish at an advanced level.
Successful candidates are eligible to proceed on to the Foundation Programme, which would lead to 200 Level Bachelor of Arts Degree in French/Russian, German and Spanish, or may wish to sit the UTME (University Tertiary Matriculation Examinations) after the completion of the Programme. However, credits in at least 5 relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at one sitting are required to enroll in the Foundation/Degree programmes.
- MODE: Fulltime (Non-Residential Day Course)
- PROGRAMME DURATION/PERIOD: One Full Academic Session/ October 16, 2023 – July 31, 2024.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
For admission into this programme, candidates are required to possess O/L credits in Mathematics, English Language, two Arts subjects and one other subject at not more than one sitting for registration.
How To Check UNILAG Proficiency Certificate in European Language Admission Form
Application forms are by payment of Non-Refundable fee of N15, 000. Applicants are expected to:
- Visit the HRDC portal: http://hrdc.unilag.edu.ng
- Click on “Prospective Students”
- Click on Fresh Application to fill the options
- Click on continue, print payment advice and proceed to any of the commercial banks to make payment of N15, 000 (Fifteen thousand naira).
Please note that a selection examination will be conducted in English Language and Mathematics for all the applicants on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Room 402 B, Faculty of Arts Building, University of Lagos, Akoka. Examination results will be released on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
